How You Can Help
2Help spread the word about Election Day Communion.
When we fired up this website back in August, we thought, “Wouldn’t it be cool if we could get 100 churches in 50 states to join us by election day?”
Fast forward two-some-odd months. Over 600 700 churches have said, “We’re in. Let’s do this.” On the evening of November 6, thousands of Christians in every state will re-pledge their first allegiance to Jesus Christ.
We’re pretty excited about that.
But here’s the thing. There are lots more churches who’ve never even heard about Election Day Communion. And there’s no way we can get the word out on our own. That’s where you come in. We need your help to tell as many people as possible about Election Day Communion between now and November 6.
Here’s how you can help…
Share it.
Tell your Facebook friends about Election Day Communion. Tweet about it. Change your profile pic or cover photo for a week to raise awareness. And be sure to connect with us on Facebook, too!
Write about it.
Have a blog of your own? Write a post about the importance of transcending political divisions in the Church or some related subject. Tell your readers about Election Day Communion and why you it matters to you. When you do, let us know and we’ll link your post.
Get your church involved.
Talk to your pastor or priest about your church holding an Election Day Communion service. (There really is nothing more to it than that.)
